I am an experienced hiker and have been hiking for 10 years+ and have never worn a shirt like that hiking or backpacking, nor would I ever hike with a shirt like that. I have no idea why anyone would ever wear a shirt with a collar in the outdoors. The only time I would wear a shirt like that is if I was meeting some political officials on site. That shirt is for pseudo hikers/backpackers. A real frue frue shirt.

70 bucks for a shirt? WOW I understand that performance materials are expensive; but as we say in this neck of the woods, “REI is a bit too proud of those shirts.”
Still good review. HOWEVER price withstanding, I don’t like that they only come in two colors. “Mercury” and “Coal” I’d like to see a “Burnt Cienna” or a “Frosted Pumpkin” maybe even a “Dusty Rose” to go along with just how Gay this episode was. LOL j/k
