Gerber Contrast Folding Knife Review – Episode 223

31 July 2011 in Knives

Another solid offering by Gerber, the Contrast folding knife is a truly awesome value.  Available with serrated or fine edge, it’s super tough and durable while also being quite attractive.  Check out the review, and stop by GerberGear.com for even more.

I am of the opinion that partially serrated blades are worthless, unless you’re going to be cutting A LOT of rope/cordage. They always seem to put the serrations on the blade where if you wanted to whittle or carve something you might need like a tent stake or even a spoon the serrations will make that more difficult. I’d go with the plain edge every time. Decent pocket  review.
