Looks like a good tent for a long trail. 600 dollars for a light 4 season tent is not unreasonable, especially when you consider the carbon fiber poles and titanium stakes. One thing I feel I need to point out however is that with most tents you should subtract 1 from the number of people the tent maker says it is rated for. Probably 3 people could use this tent but two would probably be much more comfortable and the three would be crowded together. Good review, would have liked to have seen more outdoor shots where you showed the tent all set up, and sleeping bags and pads in place and how it all worked together. and Ben God Bless you and thanks for turning you head when you sneezed. I bet Gary really appreciated it.

I own both the Hat-Trick 2P and Hat-Trick 3P, and I can say that 3 people COMFORTABLY fit in the 3P. It is not a glorified 2-man tent. I can fit a 3rd person in very tightly in the 2P in case of any emergencies.
